Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa

Fulcrum was called into the Canyon Ranch Hotel and Spa Project in January 2005 by the property owner and hotel operator due to the size and complexity of the project’s construction. Fulcrum’s purchasing, construction buy-out, value engineering, and contractor negotiating experience were required to protect the development’s interests and lender qualifications for the $125MM hard cost project.

The project consists of three key parts. The concrete shell of the existing landmark building on the beachfront property is to be transformed into a glass enclosed 5-Star luxury hotel, restaurant, and amenity space. The project further involves two new structures including the 100,000SF world-class health spa and new 20 story luxury condominium tower. The design, a collaboration between renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica and the innovative NY interior designer Rockwell Group, create a perfect balance of luxury, design, and use in the 850,000SF project.

Construction is scheduled for completion in September, 2007.
