US Customs & Border Patrol Headquarters
Dania Beach, FL

Fulcrum’s purchasing, construction buy-out, value engineering, contractor negotiating, and on-site construction management services were secured to protect the development’s interests and US Government performance requirements for the $20MM development.
Following the team’s purchase of the land, Fulcrum managed the environmentally sensitive soil stabilization work prior to beginning the building’s foundations.
The project consists of two (2) separate buildings making up the new Federal headquarters for the GSA.
The fit-out includes high-security specialty holding cells and processing centers as well as Federal administrative offices, video-conference rooms, and interview rooms.
The building was fit out with GSA’s latest technical requirements for ATS Systems, LAN equipment, and specialty electronic access and monitoring security systems.
The scope included engineered vehicle building to house the Homeland Security sea and land surveillance vehicles, and on-site diesel and gas fueling station for government vehicles.
Construction was completed in December 2008 and is occupied by Federal authorities.
